aimed, first of all, at foreign students who want to obtain a second level higher education at the Institute of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.During the educational process, the disciplines of historical and theoretical as well as applied nature are taught, which include in-depth knowledge of the nature of journalism and social communication, the specifics of the production of a media product in the face of the challenges of the modern information society and globalization.The theoretical content of the subject field of the disciplines of the main block encompasses knowledge of the theory of communication in general and mass communication in particular, the theory of activity in the field of journalism; knowledge of the history of professional activity; knowledge of methods and means of professional activity, professional standards.The program focuses on the formation of a basic journalistic postgraduate education with emphasis on analytics and innovative approaches to the formation of media content. The general style of learning involves a high level of autonomy and consciousness of students in the formation of learning outcomes.For those who do not have bachelor education in the field of journalism and social communication, there are provided educational disciplines that form theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the chosen specialty. In particular, the discipline \u00abModern Publicism\u00bb provides an understanding of the main trends of the development of journalism in Ukraine and abroad, orienting students to the best examples of professional activities of representatives from different countries of the world, forming critical thinking.
