• How was the lab created?

With the funds of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, an educational and scientific media laboratory was created at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Journalism -
Laboratory of Hidden Media Effects. The head of the grant project "Stressogenic elements of the latent impact of real media messages about the COVID-19 pandemic on social groups" in 2020-2021 was Prof. Volodymyr Rizun.

• It all started with us!

Fall 2024! Four members of the department conduct research on healthy volunteers (!) and enthusiasm on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.! Who are these four? It’s us!

Inna BELINSKA, Candidate of Philological Sciences, author of journalistic, scientific and popular science materials on the topics of psychological education and mental health, teacher of social and human rights journalism and journalism sensitive to mental health issues, medical psychologist, media psychologist. Member of the National Union of Journalists and the NGO “Ukrainian Association of Media Psychologists and Media Educators”. I have over 15 years of experience as a radio host (Channel Two of Ukrainian Radio, Radio “Promin”; Channel One of Ukrainian Radio), as well as experience in coaching/facilitation activities as a psychologist and media educator. Field of scientific interests: biology of human behavior, stress resistance, neuropsychology, psychoeducation through media, as well as scientifically proven prevention of all types of addictions. There is a colleague among us who helps us with everything. His name is Volodymyr Hisenko. We will tell you about him a little later. He is a very busy and serious person, he does not have time to write about himself… But we will make him do it!

And our “bee” is the leading specialist Olena Solomoniuk, the laboratory owner and research assistant. She is ready to replace and insure each of us!
